I bought the 3850 version from costco. Printing office document was fine, but whenever I used it to print flyers or any doc with images, they are so grainy! Not presentable. Messed around with the settings, nothing was able to solve the problem. I am returning it.

No. QHD is good enough for 23 but not for 27. You can easily tell the difference.

Even 4k is hardly enough for 27, if you get use to 5K (like iMac), you can feel the big difference between 4K and 5K.

Yeah pc screens and especially laptop or phone screens are different than TVs. With a TV, most people will never sit closer than 6ft away so there is an upper limit to what resolution is worthwhile given the screen size.
